Why Despina is so Unique

Despina is unique for a number of reasons. Number one being the carriers. They deliver the nourishing and supportive ingredients into the different dermal layers.

It is similar to the differences between soluble and non-soluble fibres in our food chain. For example, soluble fibres are absorbed through the epithelial skin of the intestinal walls and do their magnificent work in many areas of our body, including balancing aspects in our blood of cholesterols, sugars and fats, which all affect our skin. The non-soluble fibres stay within our intestinal and colon walls and help with elimination of waste by supporting the peristaltic action of the intestinal and colonic muscles, which also protects our intestinal health by clean elimination of wastes.

Our skin also needs both the absorbent ingredients for internal nourishment and support, and the protective non-absorbent ingredients that sit on the outer layers that protect our skin, while the inner workings do their profound nourishing work from both the appropriate food that we eat, and by that which we topically apply in our creams and lotions.
